Most visits here are spent watching aircraft come in low over Maho Beach, walking the boardwalk at Philipsburg and looking out at the salt ponds behind the town. Sint Maarten is the Dutch half of the island and the busier one, with the airport and the cruise pier both on this side. Travel vaccines protect against the illnesses that would interrupt a stay that is often short.
Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, MMR and typhoid are typically recommended for Sint Maarten. Rabies depends on your itinerary, and the certificate here starts at nine months, where the French side of the island sets it at a year. Tell the doctor your route in, and whether the French side is on your plans too.
At Singapore Women's Clinic, we provide a range of travel vaccinations, preventive medication and travel health advice for solo travellers and families alike.

The information on this page is taken from CDC destination advice for Sint Maarten and Ministry of Health, Singapore. If you are unsure which of these apply to you, it is best to consult a doctor, who can advise on which vaccines you need based on your destination, your itinerary and your medical history.
Whether you need a certificate depends on the countries you pass through or come from. Before you travel, check your full route against the current list of countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission published by Singapore's Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.
No certificate is needed if you arrive directly from Singapore, or from any country without yellow fever risk.
It is required from age 9 months if you arrive from a country with risk.
Singapore requires a yellow fever certificate if you have recently travelled to a country with yellow fever risk. It follows your route, not your destination, so it can apply even when the country you are visiting has no risk.
At Singapore Women’s Clinic, we also provide travel medical kits, curated by our doctors, to help you manage common travel issues such as diarrhoea, motion sickness, and minor injuries. Each kit is compact and cabin-friendly.
No appointment is required. You may walk in to purchase the kit during clinic hours.
Contact us with your destination and we will confirm which vaccinations are recommended.
What you can expect at every visit, whichever vaccine you need.
Book in the morning and have your vaccination the same day, at any of our clinics.
