A week on Norfolk Island tends to mean the convict ruins at Kingston, pines along every ridge and cattle with right of way. It is a small Pacific island with a long and complicated history, and most visits are unhurried. A pre-travel appointment covers the illnesses that would interrupt a stay built around slowing down.
Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, MMR and typhoid are typically recommended for Norfolk Island. Rabies depends on your itinerary, and a certificate is needed only where your route in has passed through a country with risk. A doctor can advise on which of these you need for the length of stay you have planned.
At Singapore Women's Clinic, we provide a range of travel vaccinations, preventive medication and travel health advice for solo travellers and families alike.

The information on this page is taken from CDC destination advice for Norfolk Island and Ministry of Health, Singapore. If you are unsure which of these apply to you, it is best to consult a doctor, who can advise on which vaccines you need based on your destination, your itinerary and your medical history.
Whether you need a certificate depends on the countries you pass through or come from. Before you travel, check your full route against the current list of countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission published by Singapore's Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.
No certificate is needed if you arrive directly from Singapore, or from any country without yellow fever risk.
It is required from age 1 if you arrive from a country with risk, including airport transits of more than 12 hours there.
Singapore requires a yellow fever certificate if you have recently travelled to a country with yellow fever risk. It follows your route, not your destination, so it can apply even when the country you are visiting has no risk.
At Singapore Women’s Clinic, we also provide travel medical kits, curated by our doctors, to help you manage common travel issues such as diarrhoea, motion sickness, and minor injuries. Each kit is compact and cabin-friendly.
No appointment is required. You may walk in to purchase the kit during clinic hours.
Contact us with your destination and we will confirm which vaccinations are recommended.
What you can expect at every visit, whichever vaccine you need.
Book in the morning and have your vaccination the same day, at any of our clinics.
