Who Should Receive the Tdap Vaccine?

In Singapore, diphtheria immunisation is compulsory. Under the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule:

• Children receive a series of DTaP vaccinations between 2 and 18 months.
• A Tdap booster is given at around 10–11 years of age.

Adults may be advised to receive the Tdap vaccine if they have never been vaccinated, have specific medical conditions, or if it has been more than 10 years since their last tetanus-containing vaccine.
